Description
All types of rice are not nutritionally valid. Whole rice is a rice that has kept its natural envelope rich in fiber and minerals. The whole rice, also called brown rice, cargo rice or even husked rice, is a grain of rice from which one has removed its hull (the pod which is not edible) but kept the sound which surrounds it rich in soluble fibers, and the germ (or embryo) rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and fat. Because of this, he is:
- Rich in minerals: contained in the germ and in the sound,
- Rich in fiber: the rice bran improves the intestinal transit like all the fibers contained in vegetables and other complete foods,
- Privileged as part of a diabetic diet compared to white rice.
